NIH CORE week

The day is fast approaching where I'll be traveling to our nation's capital to speak at NIH about Reiki! It's pretty exciting stuff ...AND I feel completely ready for it. I guess in a sense it's also true that NIH must be ready for me as well because it seemed so easy to be selected as one of the presenters. Just another example of "if it's right, it's easy". I oh-so love how this stuff works!

If you'd like to see the full week's agenda this link will open a .pdf. All events are free to the public and NIH employees. There's lots planned throughout the week so I've arranged things here on the home front to be up there for several days before my presentation. I'm so looking forward to meeting new people and learning from them. I'm also excited to be staying with my sister and getting some one-on-one time with her. I'm even trying to entice her to attend some of the other presentations with me.

My offering will be on Friday 2/13, a auspicious day in my world because it is the birthday of both my father-in-law and one of my nephews....the good stuff never ends I tell ya!

Here's the official title and description of my presentation which begins at 11:00 am:

Introduction to Reiki: a Japanese healing art that promotes Balance and Well-Being

Learn how vibration supports health and the aging process via Reiki (ray-key) in this hands-on class. Participants will be shown how to activate Reiki and experience what it feels like to treat themselves and others.

Location: 6001 Executive Boulevard (Neuroscience Bldg)
Rockville, MD 20852. Paid Parking Available.
Metro Stop is White Flint.

If you live in the area I'd love to meet you....

Love,
Diane
